Healing

Still healing.

At what point do we stop healing at start deteriorating?

4x50 sit ups this morning.

Stayed up until 5 am this morning watching movies.
It was glorious.

Good for you to stay up late and watch movies...you must not forget to have some fun time in your life. Your achilles/foot/testicles? It/they are still hurting? If so, then that is strange that all 3 of us have an ailment.

We need to get back to how it was in the summer, where we would run 70 miles a week without pain (wait...you were going 90-100!). That's what we need to get back to.

Hmm...if you have some time this break, maybe we do a Aurora to Lincoln 3 day run? It is 78 miles, but I think it will be good to break it down into 3 sections...

Aha! A good movie, a GREAT movie to watch is The Puffy Chair. Watch it if you can. I guarantee you will like it.

Good fun! I was up until about 4am transcribing a jazz score. Mind-f***.
Then I had to get up at 6 for church. Another mind-f***.

That is quite odd that all three of us are somewhat injured. Maybe it's a sign. Maybe we should kill some small rodents or something to get rid of the sickness. Wait...what?

Usually, two weeks is where you really start to notice the de-training effect. Just stick to the pool and cross training if those are free of pain. Better to get close to running and keep working than to run for real and keep re-injuring. I've learned that the hard way many times.

Remember Oklahoma, Charles?

word: parfu

Def: a new acronym stemming from the same group as SNAFU, TARFU, and FUBAR.

Situation: Two soldiers keeping guard on a perimeter. There's no action, and no hotzone for 50 miles. One is getting agitated. The other says: "Welp, PARFU." (patrols are really fucked up)

Yes, I agree with you Charles. I enjoyed the 70-100 weeks much better. However, it might be easier to commit more time to that over the break.
I have not ran since last Friday. I feel fat and out of shape. Awful feeling.

Yes Anton, lack of sleep is a true biz mind F***. Last night, for me, was another night with only a few hours of sleep. Tonight in class I was dozing off. A few times my body did that jerk-you-awake thing. You know, when your body twitches suddenly and everyone around you stares because they know you were falling asleep. Yeah, that happened.

Way to bust through the day on two hours of sleep PARFU!

The foot is feeling much better. I'm running tomorrow. Not sure how much. However much the body feels. Yes, the 78 mile run sounds like a great idea. A wonderful fantastic joyful idea. I like it!

Anton, it's funny when you type, Wait...what? because I can see exactly you say it. I laugh.
