Wasabi Soy Almonds....

are freakin' delicious. Have you ever had them? They are spectacular. However, after eating a few, I was quickly reminded that wasabi=spicy. They are still tasty wonderful.

Today in class we talked about literacy and how kids learn to read. This brought up an interesting area of literacy. As hearing, English speaking adults, we tend to naturally predict the end of sentences with what we would find to be logical conclusions. For example, fill in the rest of the sentence, "The gigantic ship, floating on the water, was .........."
Let's see where you go with that, and I'll explain the rest later.
Basically, I think that the common response by a reader would lack imagination, and with adulthood only a few retain their childlike imaginations.

Did a 7:20 pace 6 mi. today around campus. It's 43 degrees, a little breezy, and a little precipitous. Nothing to complain about by any means, it just means that I put on more gear. At the end of the run my heads was steaming. Pretty cool I think.

Headed inside the gym for some quality leg/hip stretching and a small PT--because the gym was to close shortly. Did 5 rotating sets of 8 pull-ups and a 50 varied sit-ups. One of the sit-up sets was 50 each side. Does that count for 100, or 50 total?
Depending on how it's counted, totals: 40 pull, 300 varied sit, and 3x30 shoulder pull back things. They are easy, but do they ever bring the burn!

Overall, I feel better today than the past two. Hopefully that little down period is over with. Perhaps it's the extra Vitamin C intake.

The greatest challenge is to care for those who do not care for you.

Peace and Happiness

Your heads were steaming? *snicker snicker snicker*

The gigantic ship, floating on the water, was filled with an incredible amount of caramelized raisins and flocks of seagulls were dive bombing the crew to get a taste of the sweet goodness.

Good run! Good workout! Yes, they count as 100...because you "sat up" 100 times.

Good answers good answers.

Did the ship have an identity?

The gigantic ship, floating on the water, smiled and was filled with joy.

Very creative. Bonus points for all!
